Faux French Friends, Colleagues, and Allies of Convenience: 

Lots of September stuff on the Faux Frenchmen horizon; let’s  proceed more or less chronologically:  

• Firstly, Tink’s Café will be closed Labor Day, Sept. 1.  We’ll see you Monday 9/8 in the usual time and place (6:30pm, that is); reservations at (513) 961-6500.

• And now the big news: Friday, Sept 5 at 9pm we’ll be at Molly Malone’s in Covington for a release show for our brand new disc, “Oblivion.”  Seven of the album's eleven cuts are original Faux French compositions.  It will be available in stores and on the internet in the near future, but for now, available night of show!   We'll prevew the disc on WNKU's "Music with Brian O'D" show this Saturday about 1pm eastern time. 89.7FM, or www.wnku.org.
  

• The following evening, Saturday 9/6, we’ll be in Louisville for the International Association of Jazz Record Collectors’ convention, and our concert will be open to the public.  More info at www.fauxfrenchmen.com!
  

Later in the month, we’ll be at the Jazz at Chautauqua Festival in New York State, Spring Grove Cemetery, LPK’s acoustic lunch, and more.  No christenings or arraignment parties scheduled at present.
