Lots of mixers and snacks will be provided, and some of Cincinnati’s finest food trucks will be on-site. Wine will be available by the glass for those not participating in the tasting.
The Ault Park Advisory Council is especially honored to announce that The Faux Frenchmen will be providing the musical entertainment for Summer Sips 2017. The Faux Frenchmen are jazz masters in a musical style
now often called "Gypsy Jazz."
Guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephane Grappelli and their quintette played in and around Paris from 1934 to 1939 (most frequently called "The Hot Club of France"), and constituted the first generation of European jazz musicians. Their unusual style
blended traditional gypsy and European popular and classical music with the then-new sounds of American jazz created and popularized by artists like Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Fats Waller and Benny Goodman. You can learn more about The Faux Frenchmen
