Carverhas several models of standard unheated manual bench top laboratory presses in 12, 25 and 30 ton capacities. These lab presses are for pelletizing, rosin and fluid extraction, pressure forming and destructive testing and other testing procedures. Click on an image below for more information.

Carver Standard Unheated Manual Presses are available in 12, 25 and 30 ton capacities. Designed for an array of different applications and processes for example; pelletizing, destructive testing, rosin and other fluid extraction, pressure forming, etc.

The Carver Manually Heated Press line with the option for manual water cooling are designed with Digital Temperature Controls for a more precise temperature read out. Available tonnage capacities of 12, 25 and 30 tons force. These presses are typically used for rosin extraction, molding, laminating, embossing, and bonding of various materials.

All Carver Manual Pellet Presses are designed to compact homogeneous power into a usable pellet sample. These presses are available in 12, 40 and even 50 ton capacities. Carver also offers a variety of pellet dies specifically made for the pellet press line. The pellet dies come in 6, 12, 13, 25, 31 and 40 mm sample sizes and may be found under the Accessories page for Testing/Processing/Dies.

Manually operated hydraulic laminating presses with stacked heating and cooling platens in bench top model. Thermostatic control, aluminum platens, heating one opening while simultaneously cooling the other results in faster production of laminated samples, plastic plaques and other R&D items. Temperature control 150-500F.

Carver model "c", manually operated laboratory press, serial # 16600-81. Features two post design with 6" x 6" platten pressing area, manufactuer rates press daylight from 1/2" to 18" with load capacity to 20,000 lbs (per gauge limitation), table top mount with cast base with four eye holes for mounting, twin threaded posts allow manual adjustmet of daylight, factory pressure gauge to 20,000 lbs., manual piston pump with apx 5" stoke.

These Carver manually heated bench top lab presses have digital temperature controls and safety shields and are available in 12, 25 and 30 ton capacities and two and four post configurations. They are used for molding, laminating, embossing and bonding of various materials in a laboratory setting.

All Carver pellet presses are designed to compact homogeneous powder into a usable pellet sample. Pellet dies are constructed of 440 stainless steel for corrosion resistance with replaceable anvils. All dies include a pellet ejector. A 13 mm die for IR sample preparation is supplied with 12 ton press (Model 4350). A 31mm die for x-ray sample preparation is provided with our 40 and 50 ton presses (Model 4555 & 4565). These presses are also available less the die. Carver 12 ton manual hydraulic press, model 4350. Pellet press with 4" round platen which has centering grooves for proper die alignment. 13mm and 6mm evacuable die available upon request. Training required for use.

Carver Auto Series Plus automatic laboratory presses feature a large 7 color touch screen operator interface, enhanced platen temperature control with auto-tuning, ramp heating capability, storage of up to 250 recipes and real-time trending of force and temperature. Optional features include seven day timer for auto platen heat-up, data logging for cycle parameters, and access to logged data through Wi-Fi. 48 ton models include an integral wrap-around floor stand.

Auto Series Plus press models are available with 15 to 48 tons of clamping force and 6" x 6" to 19 x 19 platens. These benchtop presses are used in quality control and research and development for test sample preparations, destructive testing, molding, laminating and fluid extraction.
