Hello,

I am new to DotNetOpenAuth. Just cloned the source from GitHub, and I
cannot run the sample: when I try to build the solution, I get the
following error:

Error 44 Could not load file or assembly 'DotNetOpenAuth.Core,
Version=4.0.0.12063, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=2780ccd10d57b246'
or one of its dependencies. Strong name signature could not be
verified. The assembly may have been tampered with, or it was delay
signed but not fully signed with the correct private key. (Exception
from HRESULT: 0x80131045)

I haven't changed anything, just compiled the code exactly as it is.
Do you know what may be causing this? Am I the only one experiencing
this problem?

Thanks!

RP

This build failure is a natural side effect of the signing process that happens only on official builds.  I recommend you download the samples from here to avoid signing issues.

Hello, Andrew!

Thanks for the answer; the problem is, I would like to run OAuth2 samples, which are only included in the trunk version, right?
This is just for testing, can I instead disable signing?

Forget it, I ended up downloading the OAuth2 CTP.
Thanks,
