Hi list,

I'm hoping to find some help trying to get the classic asp example
working on my windows 7 /IIS 7.5 box.

I've run through the install instructions listed in the default.asp
document, and after having to fix some dependency issues both the
regasm and gacutil commands run without error. I've checked in c:
\windows\assembley and the DotNetOpenAuth dll is listed. But when I
try to run the example I get "ActiveX component can't create
object".

This seems like a permissions issue, so I made sure IUSR has full
access to the directory containing the dll. That didn't seem to
help.

I'm using the current release of DotNetOpenAuth, and yes I'm stuck in
classic asp land...

Thanks,
John

Figured it out,

The 64bit IIS application pool needed 32 bit applications enabled.

Cool.  Thanks for sharing the solution.  If you can provide a bit more detail of how that is done, I can update the instructions that come with the library.
