Hello,

Is there any particular reason why reporting is enabled by default?  My only assumption is that is has to do with the fact that the framework (4.1) is prerelease.

Thanks,
Werner

Reporting has been enabled by default for quite some time, even on full release versions such as v4.0 and v3.4.x.

The reason?  Because we'd like to collect the information. :)

Thanks. I'll make sure its disabled for production.

Generally, my experience is that people should opt-in to such feedback mechanisms rather than opt-out. It has caused some serious problems in the past when customers discover information is being sent from their servers without their knowledge, irrespective of what that information is.
