Requirements
Key Skills Needed: CI tools (Jenkins, GIT, Ansible, TFS, Teamcity, Bamboo),
Hands-on experience in the following areas Required:
• Core development in Java or .NET Platforms.
• Desired broad experience with CI tools (Jenkins, GIT, Ansible, TFS, Teamcity, Bamboo),
• QA automation (Selenium, JUNIT, Load Runner),
• Any Release management tools (like Run Deck, Automic ARA, CA ARA, Urban Code Deploy)
• Config Management / Deployment tools (Chef, Puppet, Vagrant).
• Promotion and generalization of release-related DevOps best practices (CI, CD, automated testing, etc.)
Responsibilities:
• Manages, coach, mentor and develops and a highly effective and motivated team with clearly defined objectives aligned to the overall department objectives
• Simplification and improvement of software delivery/release processes, focusing on automation
• To own the setting up the institutionalized the Change management and Change Controls tools, environment, Release processes, identifying improvements and implementing them
• Plan, manage and stabilize releases, both big-bangs and Continuous Delivery according to Agile best practices
• Monitor and assist software releases by coordinating work with various teams across the globe, reacting and adapting to the week’s demands, while planning forthcoming activities
• Manage, monitor and report on technology team confidence/risk and task variances, handling any team escalations with Project Managers
• Coordinate and support all software releases into multiple environments
• To understand deployment scripts, debug where required and perform log analysis
• Fix issues during deployment or coordinate fix where necessary
