Does anyone have any ideas on how I can take a QuickBooks company file
(.IIF) and convert it to an Excel (.xls) or .csv file, in order to use
it as a Data Source with ASP.NET (VB)? I'm trying to create the data
source so I can develop functions and formulas that will evaluate the
company financial position.

Any suggestions?

Does quickbooks support export to XML / CSV? If so, I'd prefer to do
that, rather than Quickbooks->Excel->.NET

When importing excel files you should think about how to handle diffrent excel versions, localazation in excel sheets and a lot more. If you have no control over the enviroment the excels are made, you will encounter a lot of problems.
To read excel sheets into a db and use the data in .NET I like to use SSIS. But you can also use the office .net interfaces to read from excel sheets (never done that).
