Localhost failing

to DotNetDevelopment, VB.NET, C# .NET, ADO.NET, ASP.NET, XML, XML Web Services,.NET Remoting

I want to create a website using ASP.NET. This website will be
connected to an oracle database, so i installed oracle9i into my
computer. When i tried to create this website using my localhost IIS.
It says localhost can not be found and produces wrong results.

Is your site folder configured as a web folder within IIS ? Is it
configured as an application ? Provide more details.

What is your OS version? Which IIS version is yours? Have you
installed .NET Framework? More information and possibly screenshots
should help you to describe the problem better
