Job Title: Front End Web Developer - Mobile Applications

Job Location: Midland, MI

Type: Contract-To-Hire

Interview: Telephonic & Skype

 

Essential Job Functions :

·         Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3

·         Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms

·         Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery

·         Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS

·         Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, AJAX, Jason

·         Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

·         Knowledge on Scrum framework

·         Knowledge on Mobile Applications Framework

·         Knowledge on SAP BW will be add on

Roles & Responsibilities :-

·         Create Web application front end as per design comps and information architecture

·         Integrate front-end application with the application business layer

·         Design and build UIs on any server platform in a team environment

·         Need to work as a developer in a scrum team

·         Follow best practices and standards for accessibility and cross-browser compatibility

·         Collect feedback from design and technical staff on Website development needs

·         Understand executing accessibility and progressive enhancement presentation

·         Stick to established coding standards and group procedures individually and in teams

·         Coordinate with Interface Design Architects for meeting accessibility standards at code level

·         Engage in requirement specification process for new software functionality

·         Ensure design consistency with client’s development standards and guidelines

·         Guide and maintain developer teams and best practices

·         Flexibility to adapt and inculcate industry best practices as mandated by customer and TCS management.

·         Contributes to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to software architecture or new technologies

·         Strong customer service skills
