Role: Senior Dotnet Developer

Client Location: Remote/TX

Duration: 6+ months

Key Responsibilities:

 

•Design, develop, and maintain Windows and Web applications using .NET technologies including C#, VB.NET, Windows Services, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, WPF, and WCF.

•Collaborate with business and functional teams to gather requirements and deliverscalable solutions integrating with JD Edwards (JDE).•Develop and maintain custom applications, APIs, and services to enable seamless integrationbetween .NET applications and JDE Orchestrations.

•Nice to have DSI or Bottomline Transform .

•Implement data exchange and business workflows using JDE Orchestrator, REST APIs, andinteroperability frameworks.

•Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures tosupport business applications.

•Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting to ensure application stabilityand accuracy.

•Improve performance and usability of both web and desktop applications.

•Work closely with ERP teams, functional consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders for end-to-end solution delivery.

•Prepare detailed technical documentation, integration guides, and user manuals.

•Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing applications and integrations.

•Coordinate effectively with offshore development teams to ensure smooth delivery of projecttasks and timely resolution of issues.

 

Technical Skills:

•Strong knowledge of Windows Applications: C#, VB.NET, WPF (rich UI with XAML), WindowsServices, WCF (service-oriented architecture).

•Proven experience in Web Application Development: ASP.NET MVC, Web API, LINQ, EntityFramework.

•Hands-on experience with SQL Server (queries, triggers, stored procedures, optimization).

•Good understanding of JDE Orchestrations: creation, testing, and integration with externalapplications.

•Knowledge of JDE Integration frameworks (BSSV, Orchestrator Studio, REST/XML services).

•Familiarity with design patterns, multi-threading, and object-oriented programming (OOP)

.•Experience using source control systems (Git/TFS) and agile project methodologies.
