Position Summary
The IT Project Manager – Responsible for leading and delivering technology
initiatives that enhance the experience, productivity, and support of end users
across Champion’s
enterprise. This role ensures that IT projects focused on desktop support,
collaboration
tools, endpoint management, and user-facing systems are executed efficiently,
meet
business requirements, and align with strategic goals. The IT Project Manager
will
collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive
continuous
improvement in service delivery and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
· Lead end-to-end project management
for initiatives impacting end-user services,
including hardware refreshes, software rollouts, and service desk improvements.
· Define project scope, goals,
deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with
stakeholders.
· Develop detailed project plans,
timelines, and resource allocations.
· Monitor project progress, manage
risks, and ensure timely delivery within budget.
End User Services Oversight
· Oversee implementation and
optimization of desktop support, mobile device
management, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams).
· Partner with service desk and field
support teams to improve incident resolution
times and user satisfaction.
· Ensure consistent application of
ITIL practices across service delivery functions.
Stakeholder Engagement
· Serve as the primary liaison
between IT and business units for end user service
initiatives.
· Conduct regular status updates,
feedback sessions, and post-implementation
reviews.
· Translate business needs into
technical requirements and actionable plans.
Process Improvement
· Identify opportunities to
streamline support workflows and reduce ticket volumes.
· Implement automation and
self-service capabilities to empower users.
· Track KPIs such as first-call
resolution, ticket ageing, and customer satisfaction
scores.
Compliance & Security
· Ensure endpoint configurations and
support practices align with security policies
and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, NIST).
· Collaborate with cybersecurity
teams to enforce device hardening and patching
protocols.
Vendor & Budget Management
· Manage relationships with
hardware/software vendors and service providers.
· Support budgeting and forecasting
for end-user technology initiatives.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Information
Technology, Business, or related field preferred
· 5+ years of experience in IT
project management, with a focus on end-user services.
· Strong understanding of ITIL,
desktop support, and collaboration tools.
· Excellent communication,
organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
· PMP or equivalent certification
preferred.
