Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer / SDET to support mission-critical Internet Banking and Digital Platform initiatives for a leading financial services client. This role requires a strong mix of automation engineering, test strategy, and hands-on execution, with a focus on delivering secure, high-quality digital experiences for internal and external customers.

This is a fast-paced, collaborative pod-based environment where energy, engagement, and proactive contribution matter. The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly motivated, and passionate about quality engineering, automation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation scripts
Lead test strategy, planning, and execution for digital banking applications
Design and implement robust automation frameworks
Execute UI, API, integration, and regression testing
Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and QA teams
Drive defect identification, tracking, prioritisation, and resolution
Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
Ensure quality across web, mobile, and API platforms
Support production readiness and release validation
Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Provide on-call production support (rotational 24x7 model)
Must-Have Requirements
Strong Playwright expertise (Advanced level – mandatory)
Candidates must pass a live, timed technical assessment
On-site availability is mandatory (local candidates strongly preferred)
Financial Services / Banking domain experience required
High-energy, collaborative, proactive personality
Comfortable working in fast-paced pod/team models
