Job Title: Sr. Firewall Security Consultant

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Remote Role (100%)

 

Description: 

• implementing group policies, account restrictions, and resource administration
• Installing, maintaining & trouble shooting servers, and Fortinet firewalls.
• Automates and manages Fortinet SD-WAN architecture as Code (IaC) principles.
• Integrating FortiGate and Forti Manager with Terraform for scalable network management.
• Automate of deployment of VPNs, security policies, and advanced routing solutions across multi-region environments.
• Handling P1 & P2 level issues and work with multiple teams for faster solution.
• Strictly adhere to all Change Control processes and rules to prevent unexpected outages.
• Major issue handling and critical/emergency changes, Managing most Critical Incidents on a Network.
• Basic firewall requests/incidents/changes, Create/modify firewall Rules, Adding IP & services to the group, Pushing firewall rules, Version upgrade/patching firewall devices, HA troubleshooting of firewall
• Major issue handling and critical/emergency changes, Critical threat management and mitigation.
• Advanced analysis of traffic performance issues

 

Required Qualifications/Skill:

• 8+ years in Fortinet, PaloAlto, Cloud firewall & Cybersecurity domain.
• Extensive experience with Terraform and Fortinet Technologies. Including FortiGate and FortiManager and/ or Palo Alto firewall
• Good Knowledge on Prisma Access
• Basic level knowledge of Load Balancers, WAN Optimization and other Layer 3 devices that may impact VPN technology.
• Basic Knowledge in EDR solutions
• Hands on Experience with protocols like HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, SSH, ICMP, DHCP, L2TP, PPTP, DNS, SNMP, RDP, and NTP.
• Working Knowledge on Cisco AnyConnect VPN, SSL VPN, Palo Alto Global Protect Setup and Troubleshooting
• Working Knowledge of TCP/IP networks including network devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, content filters, intrusion detection systems and SSL concentrators
• Deep understanding of Proxy infrastructure and Firewalls
• Troubleshooting and Administration knowledge on Azure Firewall, WAF, etc
