Escaping double quote

Hello, I am currently using dotliquid in my integration with and I am getting a parsing error for an unexpected character due to a double quote residing in the data field. I recognize I can use a filter to convert the special character but is there any other way around this parsing error that allows for keeping the character? Thank you for your time

Shouldn't the quote character be escaped based on the containing format?
