Position: Software Engineer
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – Onsite 3 days/week: Tue–Thu)
Type: Contract – 12 Months
Work Authorization: Open (C2C eligible)
Rate: Up to $52/hr C2C

Role Overview
We’re looking for a Software Engineer with a strong computer science foundation and hands-on experience building and supporting highly scalable, enterprise-grade systems. This role sits in a fast-paced engineering environment where performance, reliability, and clean architecture matter. Experience with Nuxeo is a strong plus; candidates with other CMS platforms will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support scalable backend systems and services using Java
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Troubleshoot complex technical issues across distributed systems
Work within CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and modern build tools
Operate comfortably in UNIX/Linux environments

Required Skills & Experience
Strong Computer Science fundamentals
Advanced Java development experience (2–5 years)
AWS experience in production environments (2–5 years)
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (2–5 years)
Experience with Elasticsearch (2–5 years)
Nuxeo Content Management experience (2–5 years)
Other CMS experience may be considered

Nice to Have
MongoDB experience (2–5 years)
