Job Title: Technical Business Analyst

Location: Remote

Note: Project will be 9 weeks from 7/1 to 8/31. High probability for continuance

 

Overview

The Analyst will support requirements gathering, business process analysis, system documentation, testing coordination, and stakeholder communication for the MicroTower and Overwatch modernization program.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Analyze existing systems and support modernization assessments.
• Develop use cases, process flows, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Coordinate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
• Support testing, validation, and user acceptance activities.
• Track project requirements, risks, and change requests.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and status updates.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of business analysis or technical analysis experience.
• Experience documenting requirements for software or technology projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, and system integrations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Aviation, transportation, or operational technology experience.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, communications platforms, or cloud applications.
• Experience supporting modernization and digital transformation projects

Preferred Candidate Background

• Candidates with aviation experience are strongly preferred. Examples include:
• Private Pilot License (PPL) or higher certification.
• Experience supporting aviation technology platforms.
• Familiarity with aviation communications, weather systems, flight operations, or airfield systems.
• While aviation experience is highly desirable, it is not a mandatory requirement.
