Role: Software Engineer – Core Java Backend
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid: Onsite Tues–Thurs)
Type: 12-month contract
Max Rate: $50/hr C2C

We are seeking a Core Java Backend Software Engineer to support a high-visibility engineering team working on custom-built Content Management Systems. This role is ideal for a seasoned Java engineer who enjoys backend problem-solving, system enhancement, and close collaboration with cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Core Java
• Enhance and support a custom, enterprise-grade CMS
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to system improvements
• Bring forward ideas and innovative solutions to technical challenges
Required Qualifications
• 8–13 years of hands-on Core Java development experience
• Strong backend engineering background (full-stack exposure is a plus)
• Experience working with custom or enterprise CMS platforms
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Work Requirements
• Hybrid schedule with onsite work required Tuesday–Thursday
• Austin, TX–based candidates strongly preferred
