Job Title: AWS Java Full Stack Developer/Engineer with Kafka Exp
Location: Washington DC ( Remote)
Note : Candidates willing to travel Washington DC / Wilmington locations once in a quarter for PI Planning events
Special Skillset:
The AWS Java Full Stack Developer engineering role will be focused on developing and automating backend applications using Java and AWS technologies.
Candidate must possess strong knowledge in full-stack development, AWS cloud services, continuous integration and test automation, adapted to working with agile methodologies.
Experienced in developing and maintaining backend applications using Java and AWS.
Experienced with GitHub and/or GitLab, SonarQube, JUnit, and Spring Boot.
Experienced in Java coding in combination with AWS cloud development - Spring boot, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB/Aurora, Redshift etc.
Experienced in working with various J2EE technologies including Hibernate, Servlets, JNDI, JMS, JDBC, SOAP and Rest based Web services, Concurrent programming and Object Oriented design patterns.
Experienced in Oracle/SQL, MQ, Web Services, XSLT, JAXB, and JDOM / EJB, JSON, JNDI, and HTTPS, JSP, and HTML / Security Models, JAAS, Role Based Security, and encryption techniques.
Experienced with Javascript frameworks with excellent skills in writing and designing unit test cases using TDD and BDD methodologies while working within agile teams.
Experienced in all phases of software development from requirements through implementation and test to operations.
Skills:
Must have Expert Level working experience in ELK or EFK stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, FluentD, Kibana)
AWS Managed Kafka or Confluent Cloud Mid to Expert Level.
AWS Cloud Platform Mid level
Strong background experience in at least one of the SaaS Enterprise Monitoring platforms and technologies, AppDynamics, SignalFx, is preferred.
Advanced Knowledge of enterprise scale Hybrid IT Infrastructure, Platforms and Applications
Works with other Team Leads to ensure that the technical solutions are consistent with the enterprise architecture and strategy.
Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, work well in an integrated team environment, and must be self-motivated.
