POSITION OVERVIEW: Ariba CIG Consultant - responsible for the integration of Ariba and S/4HANA
POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS : Job Level Specific Duties
� Support the customer in the implementation of the technical components of SAP Ariba Network integration solutions
� Provide technical guidance for customers around mapping, configuration, adapter setup, BADI (Business Add-In) knowledge, SAP Notes, and navigating Ariba Technical Support
� Monitor and Troubleshot CIG relates issues
� Setup CIG for Ariba Network Transactions
� Proficient with requirement gathering, design and configurations related to integration mechanisms for Ariba Network transactions, Ariba Network configuration, and Cloud Integration Gateway for Buyers
� Ability to set up Output configurations in SAP ECC and S4 HANA for all Ariba Network Transactions
� Serve as the SAP Ariba solutions expert on integration deployment and customer requirements
� Able to manage multiple projects across different programs liaising with key functional areas
� Coordinate and manage testing process with customer from engagement to deployment.
� Participate in user-requirements gathering, graphical mapping and documenting technical designs for technical solutions
� Participate in design and development of SAP-Ariba Network interfaces using EDI/ALE/IDOC/XML/Web Services development
� Manage the technical efforts for developing RICEFW objects
� mainly Interfaces, Enhancements/User Exits, Con
versions, Workflow/Rules Engine customization, etc.
� Support in troubleshooting/debugging message queues and integration processes.
� Support efforts during the performance tuning and code optimization of CIG Interfaces.
� Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables to ensure compliance with current business strategies
� Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis
and solutions of problems.
Must-Have Skills/Qualifications:
� 5+ years of experience with Ariba Network Transaction Automation and SAP ERP integration using Ariba CIG or SAP PI/PO
� Strong Technical knowledge on SAP Ariba integration using ALE, Proxy, BAPI, Webservices
� In depth experience with SAP Enhancement Framework
� Strong understanding of Ariba Network Transaction Flow
� Develop and maintain security risk assessments; conduct analysis & determine remediation plans & implement/monitor
� Must have experience with administering and implementing enhancement pack upgrades and integrating SAP applications with SAP Ariba
� Ability to compile status of all projects and provide regular reports to Management
� Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment and influence others that impact success
� Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
� Able to solve a wide range of issues in practical ways leveraging the existing SAP Ariba solution set. � Good working experience on SAP systems including SAP ECC backend systems including S/4 and HANA.
� SAP technical experience with IDOC integration, BASIS, SAP ERP knowledge (MM/SD) preferred. � Understanding of the functional processes involved in SAP Ariba solutions and their integration touchpoints. � Ability to adapt support style to align with the technical capabilities of the customer. � Strong knowledge of Procurement and Payable processes.
