Hi

Position Tittle: Specialized Business/Systems Analyst IV
Location: St. Louis, MO (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)-local
Visa: GC/USC
Client: Charter Communications
Duration: Long Term

Job Details:

a Salesforce Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join a growing and highly collaborative team focused on optimizing and modernizing Salesforce (Agent Force) capabilities within a large and complex organization. This individual will act as a jack-of-all-trades — combining business analysis, technical acumen, and strategic thinking — to drive improvement, reduce technical debt, and support ongoing Salesforce initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on Salesforce experience, particularly with Agent Force, and an in-depth understanding of Salesforce best practices, capabilities, and governance. This person will help validate business requests, guide decision-making, and assist in balancing the needs of legacy systems with forward-looking innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to analyze and validate requests from the clients business and ensure alignment with Salesforce capabilities.
  • Support the ongoing development and optimization of the Agent Force Salesforce platform, including participation in a Proof of Concept (POC) initiative.
  • Provide Salesforce subject matter expertise, guiding the team toward scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Assist with data governance initiatives, including user access management and cleaning/rebuilding nearly 10 million contact records.
  • Support the integration and mapping of service locations and buildings to billers in Salesforce.
  • Help bridge the gap between legacy Salesforce configurations and newer Lightning capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with the PMO, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and IT to manage and deliver on key project initiatives.
  • Offer guidance to IT during the transition of Salesforce user access maintenance responsibilities.
  • Act as a liaison across cross-functional teams to ensure clear understanding of business needs and Salesforce limitations.

Core Challenges:
  1. Data Governance & Quality: The org lacks robust data governance practices, making implementation of new functionality complex and error-prone.
  2. Salesforce Complexity: The Salesforce org is highly customized and overengineered, with over 7,000 objects and 15+ years of layered legacy configurations.
  3. Balancing Legacy with Innovation: The org is behind on transitioning to Salesforce Lightning and must manage technical debt while rolling out new capabilities.
Ideal Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, data model, and capabilities
  • Experience working with Agent Force in Salesforce (preferred)
  • Proven ability to work in complex Salesforce environments with a mix of legacy and modern components
  • Ability to assess and validate business requests within Salesforce framework
  • Skilled at balancing technical debt with implementation of new capabilities
  • Experience with data cleanup, governance, and user access management
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning transition projects
  • Salesforce certifications and/or knowledge of Salesforce best practices are highly preferred
