1. Backend Developer (AI Automation) - 

Primary Focus: AI Automation, Agentic AI, and Python.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong Python experience is the first priority.
Hands-on experience with Agentic AI, orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain), vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
Knowledge of Java is required to understand the existing applications that the AI solutions will interact with.
Experience Level: 5-7 years overall, with at least 1-2 years of recent experience in AI/ML solutions and Agentic AI.
Responsibilities: The contractor will be responsible for the entire LLM lifecycle for assigned use cases, from solution design to implementation.

Key responsibilities include:

·         Lead user research initiatives and journey mapping to gain deep insights into user interactions and identify opportunities for optimization.

·         Proven UX Design Experience: Extensive portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping (low and high-fidelity), and usability testing.

·         Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual hierarchies in accordance with established accessibility guidelines and branding standards.

·         Collaborate with Code for America and cross-functional teams to apply industry best practices in UI/UX design.

·         Engage in discovery workshops, feedback sessions, and sprint planning to ensure that design decisions are aligned with business objectives.

·         Employ a comprehensive suite of tools—including Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and Hotjar—and implement usability testing, responsive design, and SEO optimization strategies.

·         Experience with AI/ML Interfaces: Demonstrated experience designing user interfaces for systems that incorporate Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning, with a focus on explainable AI (XAI) and human-AI interaction principles.

·         Complex System Design: Ability to understand and design for complex business logic and regulatory requirements, particularly in domains like government services, healthcare, or finance.

·         Data Visualization: Skill in presenting complex data and AI insights in a clear, concise, and understandable visual format.

·         Empathy and User Advocacy: Deep commitment to understanding user needs and advocating for user-centered design principles.

·         Collaboration & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present design solutions to stakeholders.

·         Understanding of Accessibility Standards: Knowledge of WCAG and other accessibility guidelines to ensure inclusive design.
