Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Lead / Project Manager with a strong background in the Payments, Banking, or FinTech domain to lead Agile delivery for enterprise architecture initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as both a Scrum Master and Project Manager, driving cross-functional teams, ensuring timely project delivery, managing stakeholders, and promoting Agile best practices in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Delivery Management
- Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery for enterprise architecture initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, roadmaps, milestones, and risk registers.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including software, hardware, firmware, QA, infrastructure, and web development.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and blockers while driving mitigation strategies.
- Track project progress using KPIs, dashboards, and executive status reports.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards.
Agile & Scrum Leadership
- Serve as Scrum Master for Agile teams and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies.
- Lead Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and PI Planning.
- Coach teams on Agile methodologies, Scrum principles, and continuous improvement.
- Remove impediments and promote accountability, transparency, and team ownership.
- Balance Agile execution with enterprise governance and project management standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between engineering, product management, operations, QA, architecture, and executive leadership.
- Translate business objectives into actionable technical execution plans.
- Drive cross-team collaboration, alignment, and decision-making.
- Present project status, risks, and delivery metrics to senior leadership.
Execution & Operational Support
- Coordinate software development, testing, integration, release management, and deployment activities.
- Manage internal and external dependencies, including vendors and integration partners.
- Support ERP and workflow systems associated with project execution.
- Ensure synchronization across engineering, operations, and product teams.
Payments Domain Responsibilities
- Manage Agile delivery for payment platforms and enterprise payment solutions.
- Coordinate initiatives involving payment gateways, banking APIs, digital payments, and cryptocurrency integrations.
- Ensure compliance with payment industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Product Owners to prioritize and manage product backlogs.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or Agile Delivery Lead.
- Strong experience in the Payments, Banking, FinTech, or Financial Services domain.
- Hands-on experience managing enterprise-scale Agile projects.
- Deep understanding of Scrum, Agile, Kanban, and SDLC methodologies.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience managing risks, budgets, timelines, and project governance.
- Knowledge of payment processing, banking APIs, digital payments, and cryptocurrency platforms.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar.
- Familiarity with ERP and enterprise workflow systems.
