Job Title- Senior Systems Verification Engineer

Location-  Los Angeles, CA (Need candidate to be onsite from Day one)

Job Type- Contract

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Analyze system requirements to determine testability, completeness and consistency.
• Design and implement system verification test strategies/plan and test objectives, test procedures to evaluate the behavior of the system as compared to the specified requirements.
• Design automated/semi-automated end-to-end verification tests in Python programming language for connected medical products/systems/cloud platforms.
• Develop new capabilities/tools, libraries in Python programming language to support test automation.
• Design and execute System Integration testing scenarios based on system architecture/designs.
• Drive the innovation in mobile apps test development and work closely with engineering teams to identify and act on the opportunities for automation and test tools.
• Perform peer reviews of verification test assets, test objectives, and automated test scripts.
• Produce requirement-test traceability matrices to ensure adequate requirement coverage.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile Software Development Life Cycle.
• Support regulatory submissions of specifications, test plans, and reports.

 

Experience:

 

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ Years’ experience in Systems Engineering, Software Development, and/or Software V&V.
• Server-side and Client-side verification testing expertise.
• Training, technical: Evidence of continuing education in technology improvement, advanced product development tools and processes.

 

Strongly Desired Skills:

 

• Experience in the Medical Device industry (or other regulated environments).
• 5+ years experience programming in Scripting Languages (preferably Python).
• 5+ years of experience in C#.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL Server Management Studio.
• Experience with AWS Platform technologies.
• Android app or Java development/Verification experience.
• Web Technologies - HTML5, CSS3, XML, JSON.
• Experience with BLE technology.
• Familiarity with Appium, Selenium, Git, Zeplin, Jenkins.
