Hello everyone,

Hope you're all doing well and setting your goals for the upcoming new year :)

Just wanted to send a reminder that there are less than 2 weeks left to take advantage of the Frankincense promotion this month until the end of December! Order 200 PV (Product Value) of oils and products and you will receive a free 15 ml bottle of Frankincense. This is a great time to share the benefits of these oils and especially have people you know experience the aroma of Frankincense. There is a great variety of benefits in Frankincense.

Some great educational videos:

Dear Heba,

I really appreciate your email because I do find it difficult to know where to start and what to apply or when.
My biggest concern with my son is to work out why he has seizures and to heal his body so that he will no longer be afflicted by seizures.  A big ask especially since the normal medical world has no answers.
I am seeing a homeopath to work on detox Alex my son for all the medical drugs he has had and for anaesthetics etc.
What I would be interested in learning what oils would be suitable to use and if anyone has had experience in this field of unexplainable epilepsy.
Alex is autistic but because of the seizures he had as a baby, the autism was never diagnosed.  But I believe it is because of the severity of the autism it actually caused the seizures.  So basically if we keep on treating the whole body to heal then we should achieve some results.
I just wonder if anyone else has had experiences in this area?
Kind regards
Denise Guzman

Hi Denise,

I dont have experience with oils and epilepsy, but I have gone through it with my daughter.  I really wanted a natural alternative and really did not want to give the drugs but I didnt get very far.  I saw a naturopath but she seemed to have no idea about epilepsy and i tried her homeopathic drops and they did absolutely nothing, I never went back.  I did get my hands on a book about dealing with it naturally, I can give you the details if you're interested.  WHen I saw that you can use the oils I wish I had known about it 2-3 years ago, I ended up going the medication route, and we have been slowly reducing her dosage, Insha'allah another year or so and she will be off them for good.

Hi Nancy,
We tried the biomedical approach initially and it did help lots but when our son started at school, the principal would not condone him having seizures.  He wanted Alex on the epileptic drugs.  In the end we agreed to try as everytime Alex hadeizure at school I had to go and pick him up and bring him home.  Since it was 55  mins to drive to the school as I was also working, it made life very difficult. But it was the worse decision we made.  He reacted to all the drugs that were tried on him - with Keppra his blood pressure went so dangerously low.  The epilim caused a lot of walking problems and he lost his ability to climb stairs and cognition.
I am using some oils but am not too sure I am using the right approach so am trying to learn more about it all.
We are seeing a naturopath also as well as a homeopath who is in
Sunbury Melb.  This was the same homeopath we saw 9 years ago.  Since then we have learnt a lot. I have to admit we were quite ignorant in those early years.  You can use homeopathy to detox from the epileptic drugs.  but you need to make sure it is a good homeopath.
Alex has become addicted to the Frisium so the homeopath is helping to overcome the addiction.  It is ridiculous - you use the frisium if he has too many fits and then if it happens too often, he then needs a hit" otherwise he will have a fit.   Vicious circle.
We are using vit B15, vinpocetine, TMG, DMG, glycine, green tea extract as part of trying to control the seizures.
We started homeopathy 3 days ago again and using melatonin homeopathic drops at night as well. Children can also get side effects from anaesthetics and nitrous oxide and residues left in the body from the drugs. So we are going to work on all that as well.

I would really appreciate to be able to share with your information as it seems us parents on the whole have a lot of knowledge between us.
kind regards
Denise
