Maria:

From time to time, my vtl files stored in a shared host get "lost." I
am getting errors on my standard host stating that it can not find the
vtl files on the shared host. The error states like this:

The velocity file you want to #dotParse(/vtl/etc/file.vtl) does not
exist, please change the path and try again.

Note: This error does not include omits the //shared. If I open the
widgets the path is: #dotParse(//shared//vtl/etc/file.vtl)

I checked on the shared host and I see all the VTL files.

If I go to the CMS Admin and clear the host cache, the widgets that
use vtl files in shared host start working again.

I am having a hard time trying to document this, since it happens once
in a while. So far it has happened like 10 times after I upgraded to
2.1.

Thanks,

Alex

Alex,

Did this start happening in 2.1?

If you see anything on the logs that will be very helpful, but either way I'll let our QA team know so they can keep an eye out for this issue.

Thanks
Maria

This has happened again. On the front end, it gives me a 404 error and on the log file it does not give me any errors only a standard warning from the urlmapfilter:

WARN filters.URLMapFilter: No urlmap contentlent found uri:/test/properties/100/city-home-view-in-san-francisco-ca/ query:+structureName:STRUCTURE +deleted:false +live:true +(conhost:myhostID conhost:SYSTEM_HOST) +STRUCTURE.mls:100 +STRUCTURE.urlTitle:city-home-view-in-san-francisco-ca
