"ResourceManager : unable to find resource" after upgrading dotCMS

Hello 

I am attempting to upgrade dotcms 1.9.1 to dotcms 1.9.2 version. 

All documentation steps was done including fixing asset inconsistencies,reindexing all structure, clearing cache.

Now, i am guetting a lot of errors, fontend does not display pages...

i have to set up the right default language in dotmarketing-config.properties,

fontend works now.

I think the issue he had is his content was set in another language, and by default when you install dotCMS the default language is set to English. 

What error are you getting?

It's looking for content in English, not sure if that's the correct language for your site.

Did you try running a Full Reindex?

Go to CMS Admin --> CMS Maintenance --> Index --> and click on Reindex.

The assets should be under dotCMS or you should change the variable ASSET_REAL_PATH in the dotmarketing-config.properties file. 

Or if you're running on Linux you should create a symlink from dotCMS/assets to the location where they are.

Even trying http://localhost/c/ is giving you a 404?

If you have the assets under dotCMS/assets then you don't need to modify your dotmarketing-config.properties.

Please copy / paste the errors from your log.

Hi, I know this is some older thread, but I have a similar issue with assets.
I can see the following error in the dotcms-velocity.log:

ERROR resource.ResourceManagerImpl: ResourceManager : unable to find
resource
'/usr/share/dotcms/tomcat/webapps/../../dotCMS/assets/1/b/1b045287-82c7-412b-963a-26ca21d5fe1c/fileAsset/template.vtl'
in any resource loader.

If I check the filesystem, I can find the resource:

vagrant@debian-squeeze-64:/usr/share/dotcms/dotCMS/assets/1/b/1b045287-82c7-412b-963a-26ca21d5fe1c/fileAsset$

What I notice here is that dotcms is looking on a different path, how is
this possible, and how can I fix this?

Also, if I fix assets inconsistencies, rebuild index and flush caches, I can
see html pages, but errors are displayed that .vtl files can't be found. It
looks like doing this removes a lot of our template files.

The 2 directories are the same:

/usr/share/dotcms/tomcat/webapps/../../dotCMS/assets/1/b/1b045287-82c7-412b-963a-26ca21d5fe1c/fileAsset/

Is the same as

/usr/share/dotcms/dotCMS/assets/1/b/1b045287-82c7-412b-963a-26ca21d5fe1c/fileAsset/

"../" means go up one directory.  

It could be file permissions maybe.

We found the same, on older versions of Dotcms.  The most recent version doesn't seem to have that problem for us.
