Hello all,
Bikes Not Bombs is looking for volunteers for their upcoming Bike-A-Thon fundraiser on 9/8. There are many volunteer opportunities available for that weekend. See text of Maura's email below. Join if you can! Cheers,
Vivian G.
My name is Maura, I work at Bikes Not Bombs, and I am one of the coordinators of our annual Bike-A-Thon fundraiser ride, happening this year on Sunday, September 8th!
This event would not be possible without the work of an incredible group of volunteers. Montell Khaldi gave me your contact, to see if folks at the Bike Kitchen might be interested in volunteering. Our volunteer needs range from bike mechanics to greeting and directing riders to the event, handing out t-shirts, helping set-up and take-down the stage, chairs, and tables, or even staffing a rest stop outside of Boston along the ride route!
We’re looking for individuals or groups who would be interested in volunteering. Here is the website to sign up and learn more about the details of each shift and role. Please let me know if you have any questions about signing up or role specifics.
I'm also attaching a flyer to this email. If you could share this with the folks in your community, we would be so grateful. We're excited to have a great group of volunteers this year to make our event a success!
Warmly,
Maura Holt-Ling
