The current large apartment building and a future car dealership all had pieces of the path built into their designs as part of their permitting process. I think MassDOT finally is moving forward, since the permitting and staking have begun for the gas tank boardwalk (and I think I saw it out for bidding, since I work in public construction :)

This is the Neponset Greenway Trail that will bypass the Expressway offramp.  We at the Greenway Council will lead additional walks and rides to show off progress; follow the Neponset Green Council online for more details. Construction should take about two years.
