Hello folks,

The Little Saigon organisation (who generously provide space for the Dorchester Bike Kitchen) is going to have some programming on Monday afternoon/early evenings for most of the summer.  Because of this, we will only be able to open DBK at 7 PM on Monday until further notice. DBK should also be open on most Saturdays 1-4.

The city is currently in the process of redesigning Columbia Road.  As part of that plan, there is a community walk starting this Saturday at 1PM starting at Quincy St and going to E. Cottage St -see flyer below.   It's one of 4 related events happening over this month.  This is a great opportunity to voice your opinion about what should be done about it.  I am planning to attend this Saturday's walk and hope that you can make it to one of them as well!

And don't forget about the Dorchester Parade! -Starting on Sunday at 1 PM in Lower Mills and passing through Fields Corner around 2

Have a great Dorchester Weekend!

Hi Jen,

Sorry, I can't open since I will be doing the community walk on Columbia road at that time.   If nobody can open tomorrow, are you able to post the notice on instagram?  That and the fact that Monday will be 7-9 for a while.  I emailed Toni to ask if she could share the instagram credentials as Elisa said that she'd be happy to post things as needed but I haven't heard back.  I'll try her again this weekend.

Thank you so much for these updates, Vivian! The Columbia Road project is super exciting and the City could definitely benefit from hearing the perspective of people who bike (or would bike) on the corridor.

Also, is anyone available to open shop tomorrow? I have family in town (likely bringing them to Dorchfest :) If not, we should probably update the instagram and leave a note in the door.

Thanks!
Jen
