Hello biking friends,

Next Sunday (6/21) we are organizing a 5 and 10 miles city group ride.  We will start in Fields Corner at 1448 Dorchester Ave, follow a path that meanders along the 93 South overpass concrete jungle (it's very safe and offers some unique city sights), and end up in the Boston Seaport area in front of the ICA.  See details in the flyer below.

It will be a casual and easy ride for anyone who is reasonably comfortable riding on city streets.  You have the option of going one-way from Fields Corner to the Seaport, and then hopping on the Red Line. That's 5 mile.  We will also ride back to Fields Corner as a group on Dot Ave and that's a 10 mile round trip.

If you would like to join but don't have a bike, please let me know by responding to this email and we will ensure that we have a free Blue Bike available for you to borrow.

At our starting point, some city folks will be telling us about the Blue Bike program and discounted membership.  They have some very affordable membership that apply to people earning up to $64k/year.  And even if you earn more than that, till the end of this month, there is a program providing a 50% discount for new memberships.  With the recent addition of new stations (including one on Adams St, in Fields Corner) there is no reason not to take advantage of Blue Bikes that are all over the city!

Looking forward to seeing you next Sunday.  RSVP is prefered by responding to this email.  Feel free to email if you have any questions as well.

Cheers,

Vivian
