Does anyone know how Slashdot works this days. We have an entry listed in moderation on http://slashdot.org/recent. I don't know if people have to vote it in or not?
Would be helpful if people in the know could help on this one. Slashdot coverage would be nice. :-)

I've not been on slashdot for years, but I'll check it out tonight.

I'm pretty sure Slashdot works essentially the same as it always has: submit a story and it's reviewed by humans who decide which ones to publish. There's no voting like, say, digg or redditt (where the votes decide which stories run or get prominence). The FAQ has more detail: http://slashdot.org/faq
