Hi,

My name is Bart and I am one of the founders of NLGseries, some of you might know us from our cups we used to host and i am interested in making this project happen.

We are going to focus on producing (video)content now and we can use some help. This thing is gonna take alot of work so i hope we can combine powers.

I'm a filmmaker and beside dota, camera's and surfing is what i life for. I would like to manage this project under the NLGS flag. Assemble a small team, stick our heads togheter to discuss what we want and get the ball rolling.

I am curious about what you people think?

Hi, I'm PieMan, currently talking to Bart on Steam. Looking at doing some video editing.

The NLG series would be great to set up a first run so to speak, the problem would have been organising with a series about the rights to the video and content produced as well as getting tickets for the MOTD crew but one focused series that we can partner with or produce under or however you'd like to phrase it is an amazing opportunity. Also I should add my steam here too so get in touch with "rob_n_roll".

Hi, I am Dom and I used to cast sc2 for a while (mainly for the DSCL and SCVRush) and I also used to run a large clan (1500 people) with all the peripherals that came with that (setting up cash for merchandise stores, setting up casting teams, video editing teams, social media).

I am very organised and used to setting up structures for teams and I love this idea and want to help any way I can. I am not a professional level editor but I can help a fair amount there. I also can cast and analyse and have been on the fence about whether or not to get into casting Dota for a while.

The main questions I need to ask first really are:

Is the length of each "program" going to be fixed with priority given to the most interesting/important games at that time or will it be varying on how much content there is to cover?

Where is the cutoff point for tournament calibre? Who determines this? Would you cover lower level tournaments if there isn't enough top level content?

How often will this show occur? Once a week? Once a day? Or will it be dependant on content?

If you haven't begun to think about the answers to those that is cool, but I think it is the first thing you guys (and hopefully me too :D) should answer.

Let me know what you guys think,

Dom

I personally think it'll be extremely hard and near impossible to do a frequent highlight show of what's been going on that day or that week, so what I think would be very interesting is to do a weekly talk show where the "hosts" can talk about what's been happening in Dota 2 that week as well as maybe throwing in some big play highlights from that week's tournaments. Kind of like Dota 2 Radio, but specifically about the leagues being played.

I was thinking something similar but it would be covering all the top leagues results and standings and, say, 2 games per league would be chosen to have some analysis and some highlights done of them. Nice balance between updating people on the standings and results in the leagues, analysis of games and highlights.
