Workshop video introduction

Hi all,

As Travis mentioned in another message, the video recording from the workshop we held on 1 Sept was lost. In the interests of recovering and continuing the discussions we started in the workshop I suggest that we post short videos presenting the updates, proposals, etc and link them here with each in a separate thread. That way reactions & discussions will stay organised by topic.

To start, here is a short video I re-recorded of the introduction to the workshop. I'll start additional threads with the proposals I presented.
