My name is Varun Kumar, We have a job opportunity for you as an Data Architect for one of our client based in Albany, NY.

Job Title:        Data Architect
Location:        Albany, NY
Duration:        6+Months
Start date:       ASAP

Job Description:

·         Minimum 10 years of IT experience with more than 8 years on data warehouse applications
·         Must have played role of a data architect for DW/BI project for minimum of 5 years
·         Must have an experience of working on multiple initiatives with moving targets.
·         Must have real world experience in enterprise data warehouse design in handling various aspects across multiple projects in the portfolio
·         Must be able to define POA architecture, define a road-map and drive multiple development projects to reach there in defined timeline
·         Must have excellent communication & client facing skills, good presentation skills • Must have experience in Dimensional & OLTP modeling with big schemas.
·         Must have experience with creation of logical & physical schemas, database volumetric & sizing, ddl script creation.
·         Must have expert knowledge of formal data modeling tools
·         Must have working knowledge of ETL, Reporting tools
·         Knowledge on Informatica or Cognos should be added advantage
·         Very good knowledge of BI-Data warehousing concepts
·         Very good knowledge of at least one database like Oracle, SQL Server etc.
·         Should have worked on many end to end BI projects
·         Collaborate with DBA, ETL , Business teams with superior interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and presentaion skills. Strong excel and Powerpoint skills.
·         Able to provide functional advise or training and serve as a mentor to less experienced Dataware house Analysts
·         Must be able to recognize and identify patterns in Data relationships from Disparate systems
·         Work with global/distributed teams.
·         Healthcare domain knowledge should be added advantage
