7/9, Deer Meadows to Unnamed lake below Muir pass, mile 835

Summary mode:

- Today we climbed up to base of Muir pass.
- Aaron had a lower back-spasm which slowly got worse.
- the trail climbed up to a small, ice covered, lake a few miles before Muir, this was a good place to camp.
- Nathalie made a fire and heated stones so that Aaron could lay in his bag and place the stones on his back.
- Zack set up his tent on the ice covered lake for the photos.
- The sunset was powerfull, took great photos at the lake.
