Hi I am seeing the same issue with my floodlight cam. Originally the power fuse was tripped and so I flipped it back on from the circuit breaker box to restore power. However its been strobing since this morning til now (for 8 hours and counting). What exactly is the problem with the new floodlights? I also have the original ring floodlight cams that I have around the house, and tried to restore power to them, and they connect back to the network just fine. (I manually flipped the circuit breaker to test it out) However these new floodlights (floodlight cam pro), which I got two, both have not connected back to the wifi network and keep strobing.
it was quite loud and it happened when i was watching catface on youtube (dont judge me) and my friend decided to call me to tell me about a flood in his house. it sounded like this but nicer =cQ2bkZxGvOY am i going crazy or is this a thing? i really want it to happen again or for someone to confirm that im not crazy please thanks in advance guys. this is so weird for me and it was so catchy but i accidentally ended it
I was having a similar issue and think I may have found a solution.
Mine have been installed for over a year.
I have 4 flood light cam wired plus devices and this only happens on one of them.
The one light would stay on all night.
Sometimes even in the day it would stay on.
I would turn it off in the app and it would turn right back on a few seconds later.
My solution:
Same started happening on my floodlight wired cam too, lights stay on 24/7.
I have reset them, cleaned them and the sensor. Rebooted them and even set sensitivity to the lowest but they stay on.
I manually turn them off and 3 seconds later they are on again. I have no had to set a schedule to keep them off from 23:30 till 17:00 every day.

It's definitely bright enough to annoy someone walking by, especially if the light is installed near eye level.

When the floodlight kicked on at night when I took out the dogs, it illuminated the yard well beyond the back deck where it was installed. I could see the dogs walking around the perimeter of our small yard and beyond.
When the camera is armed and motion is detected (and it's dark outside), the floodlight turns on by default. If you want the siren to turn on as well, you can edit the rules by clicking on the pencil on the mode and then on the rules. This is also where you can opt in to receive an email when activity is detected in addition to the default push alert.
There's really no competition here; this is a great floodlight camera. It's true that $250 is a lot to spend, but you can find the Pro 3 Floodlight Camera for $200 fairly regularly these days -- and that's still significantly less expensive than Nest's $280 alternative. Arlo combines excellent performance, features, usability and design in one tidy package. I'm particularly impressed by its easy installation and battery-powered design -- and by the option to install it wirelessly, which most competitors simply don't offer.

For the mobile platform to become a truly mass-market phenomenon, there must be certain degrees of standardisation in the user experience. Consumers do not have the patience to re-learn how to download ringtones, games and other forms of content each time they upgrade to a new device.
