‘Dorset’s voluntary sector on a knife edge – charting our way to a sustainable future’
Dear Colleague,
DCA’s Board of Trustees have great pleasure in inviting you to our ‘Dorset’s voluntary sector on a knife edge – charting our way to a sustainable future’ conference organised by DCA,
Dorset Communities Forum and Dorset County Council, which will look at the future for Dorset’s voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations.
If you are concerned about the future for your organisation and want to find out more about the local impact of national policy changes locally, and participate in workshops to help shape how we will work with the statutory sector in Dorset, you will not want
to miss this conference.
Attendees will have the chance to hear from speakers on ‘Where government policies are going over the next 5 years and the impact on local authorities and voluntary sector’, ‘The state of Dorset – the challenges the voluntary sector faces locally’ and ‘Unitaries,
devolution and DCC’s Corporate Plan’.
The conference will be held on Thursday 10th December at Kingston Maurward College, Dorchester, Dorset DT2 8PY. Doors will open from
10.00 am for registration for a 10.15am start. Please register your attendance online by going to
