What edition of DnD do you guys want to use?

Doug and I are leaning towards 4th since we kind of like some of the
new rules. As Doug had asked in a previous email, the DnD podcasts
(http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/4pod/20090218) it is a
recording of The guys from Penny-Arcade and PvP playing with an
official DM using 4th edition rules. While simply just entertaining,
it also has a lot of insight into what is different with 4th edition.

Personally I think its pretty cool but to be honest, I never go to
deep into 3.5 to truly appreciate it. So I will make this clear: WE
CAN USE EITHER EDITION! I would like to hear everyone's vote on this
topic though. Majority will win. Period.

Anthony claims that 4th edition would be the easiest to run for we who
are split apart. From what I've seen and read, I'm inclined to agree,
seeing how Wizards of the Coast made the game a non-graphical re-
representation of World of Warcraft, the opportunistic bastards. I'm
guessing you have a vast majority of the 4th edition stuff, Doug, but
if you are missing anything, just ask Anth. He says that he has
pirated all the stuff needed for a 4th edition run.

And Doug, I swear to Black Zombie Jesus, if a hyperactive dwarf
beckons us to follow him, only to lead us into a ridiculously large
ambush, your party character will not wake up the following morning.
Just thought I'd throw that in there.
