[dorkbotpdx-blabber] Dance Performance this Week

Jesse Meija and I have been working with the bobbevy (http://bobbevy.com) on a dance performance called "This is how we Disappear" featuring Jessica Hightower and Philippe Bronchtein.  It'll be shown this Thursday through Saturday starting at 8:30pm at Conduit (http://www.conduit-pdx.org/news.html) as part of Dance+ Performance Series.

Jesse Meija will be doing live music using a PureData (http://puredata.info/) patch and a Livid (http://lividinstruments.com/) controller.  Jesse is part of the crew that puts on the PureData workshops (http://dorkbotpdx.org/wiki/workshops).  He's also given a talk at one of our presentation events about colloboration with dancers before, come see what it's about live!

Brian Richardson will be doing live interactive video using a Microsoft Kinect and some custom software that uses Cinder (http://libcinder.org) as its framework.  Brian gave a workshop on Processing (http://processing.org) and has given random talks during DorkbotPDX events.
