OMSI Oregon Science Festival new AI robot demo / talk

Hi all,

OMSI is hosting the Oregon Science Festival on Sept 14/15:

I will be presenting "The art of robotics" on Saturday, Sept 14, at 2:00, featuring a new robot I just completed named EB-6, a 2-foot tall (one of my smallest robots), 3D printed robot with full AI capabilities.

Spurred on partly by Dave’s post about his robotics[1] this weekend at the OMSI Science Festival, I finally got to writing up my project from last year which is coming back this year, too.

It’s called Catch the Wave! and it’s an interactive play-station of electromagnets, sound waves, speakers, and mics.

Hey Justin,

I didn't get a chance to say Hi (you were busy with kids when I had a break from the robots), but your setup looked cool and I could tell the kids were very interested!  Nice work!
