Afternoon
A quick message to get some opinions about what kind of website
dorkbot-soton would benefit from.
1) Is a website needed?
2) Does anyone have any ideas about what kind of functionality would
be nice to have?
Of the top of my head, I'm thinking an initial website could provide;
* A blog - a place to announce future events, and to document past
presentations and events.
* An 'ideas incubator' - a place to post ideas for future projects;
this might end up becoming a decent way to help people connect re.
hacking/art/tech projects.
* Profiles - introductions and a skills matrix; providing a way to
show which areas members have experience in, and which areas members
are interested in expanding their knowledge.
Does any of this sound worthwhile?
