A while ago Luke asked the group about a website for Dorkbots. Why
don't we start a wiki? Everyone could contribute, and information
would be much better organised than in a Google group. People could
contribute project ideas, collaborate, and organise things to do /
bring on Dorkbot nights. There could be a page for newbies to explain
what we do, and photos to show off the projects we've done. It's a
format that works really well for the London Hackspace:

http://wiki.hackspace.org.uk/wiki/London_Hackspace

Having suggested it I'm going to go and put my foot in my mouth.
Shamefully for a nerd I don't know anything about starting a website
or a wiki! What do people think? Does anyone have the skills to do
something like this?

It looks like http://wiki.hackspace.org.uk/wiki/London_Hackspace uses
'MediaWiki' - should I go ahead and install the same so we can try it
out?

Lukus.

You may want to add useful links to this website.

e.g.
http://www.electronicsweekly.com/blogs/gadget-master/

If any members want some encouragement then check out the awesome zigbee wireless domino video on the page above.

Fixer.
