Cornet Research Sdn Bhd (Cornet) is a well-established software development company in Malaysia developing innovative software for the capital and financial market. Cornet has been awarded the Multimedia Super Corridor Malaysia Status (MSC Status) in November 2010. As of March 2011, Cornet has become an approved Independent Software Vendor (ISV) for Bursa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop new products
• Improve and enhance existing products
• Involve in product framework analysis and design
• Deliver high quality of work on-time
• Prepare technical documentation
• Participate in project implementation

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Good command of English
• Possess at least 3 years experiences/ exposure in software development environment
• Knowledge and skills required: PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, ExtJS4 and/or Symfony Framework
• Excellent problem solving, design, coding, and debugging skills
• Experienced in internet technologies, application servers and databases
• Experienced in Linux/ UNIX environments, systems setup and application deployment will be an advantage
• Experienced/ Knowledge in Stock Market Industry is highly preferable
• Must be able to work independently or in team with minimal guidance and able to meet tight deadlines
• Candidate would be subjected to technical tests
• Fresh graduates with CGPA 3.0 and above are encouraged to apply
