After installing HBC, I open dop-mii all I get is the red bar at the
top of my screen and nothing else. Nothing to select or any way to go
back. The only way to go back is to restart the Wii. Any Ideas?
Thanks

Do you have a GameCube memory card installed? If so can you remove it.
Is there anything else plugged into the Wii?

I'm actually having this exact same problem. I have no GC cards/
controllers/etc online - only a USB drive and a SD card inserted. I
get a real quick status bar for the load, then a completely blank
screen. Not currently having any other issues with other homebrew
running. No problem running backups either - but would really like to
see DOP-Mii working for added flexibility. Any other troubleshooting
advice?

Thanks...

Can you try unplugging the USB Drive. Trying to determine if it's a
hardware or software causing the problem.

Yep - all hardware has now been removed - and there is nothing that is
in the system when DOP-Mii is selected. Still same black screen. I'm
half wondering if there isn't an error message that isn't displaying
on my TV - as if it's a DOS-Text type error, they don't seem to scale
quite right. I may take it to a CRT-based TV and see if there is a
message there. Otherwise, I'm out of ideas...blah.

Only other thought is maybe its trying to load a corrupt IOS. The IOS
starts at 71 and works it way down, do you have any custom IOS between
61 and 70?

Actually, that turned out to be the case. Looks like 61 was the
culprit. I had to resort to another product to figure it out,
unfortunately, but now DOP-Mii works with no issues! DOP-Mii is a far
superior product to that monstrosity!

Thanks for your help!
