Seems so, I forget the name but if you look on the go project wiki there is a new kid on the block that seems to have everything doozer does and faster due to a different algorithm.

What's the current state?  Is doozer dead?

I understand that Heroku's requirements or situation have changed, but I don't see Zookeeper or DynamoDB as viable options for my situation.
