In this section the latest version of hardlock drivers can be downloaded. Itssetup also contains Admin Control Center for the administration of network keys.There is also available for download an older version of driver and a LicenseManager for the administration of network keys, which could be used in operatingsystems, which are not longer supported in the latest driver.

Run the setup program with an option haspdinst.exe -i.Use following options to uninstall older drivers haspdinst.exe -fr-kp. Show information about current driver using an option haspdinst.exe -info.Display help information with an option haspdinst.exe -?.

Open URL localhost:1947 in any web browser.

A few comments have prompted me to provide slightly more explicit instructions, with pictures. Anywhere you see my name (Andrew), expect instead to see your name (or whatever the name of the account you are using is).

Starting the command-prompt can be achieved by a variety of means. I chose to use the Accessories Start Menu entry because it is common to all modern Windows versions back to XP, and the typical computer user generally prefers the point-and-click method whenever possible.

When I ran haspdinst.exe on my 64-bit Dell laptop, I got an error saying there was a problem with their 64 executable. I stopped hasplms and deleted the executable file from Windows/System32 folder, ran the purge again and it completed. I refreshed the WIndows 8.1 installer. It proceeded with the install.

When I double click on the installer it just open a window labeled Sentinel Runtime environment installer, with only an OK button at the bottom. How and where should I run this command you mentioned above?!

It looks like hasplms.exe is packaged with the flexera dongle driver installer. So if hasplms was updated then the version reported by hasplms.exe could change. So to expand and elaborate on the OP's question:

I agree. So do you think its safe to say that "FLEXID-9 dongle drivers are installed" if we find all the packages listed by "haspdinst.exe -info" on the system? And probably something similar for FLEXID-10 dongles?

Or is there a better way to detect that?

For the USB dongle (key) of type HASP HL (since 2009 we don't use hardlock keys any more), that you received with your software, a driver software is required which is installed automatically during the software installation.

- Start the program haspdinst.exe from the folder \Hardlock of the DVD with:
- Start - Run or Windows key + R
- Search
- select the DVD drive, select the folder Hardlock
- select haspdinst (or haspdinst.exe) with double click, it is inserted into the command line
- click to the end of the command after .exe and add the options -fr

You have probably already installed from your EnterpriseCD, but if not you should do that now. Step 3
Now thatEnterpriseis installed, download haspdinst.exe. It's possible thatsome security on your computer won't let you download a file with an "exe" extension, in which case download thiszipped version instead.

Step 4
Place the downloaded haspdinst.exe into a folder on your main hard drive. Although you could place it just about anywhere,the best folder is one you probably have already, namely C:\Dragonfly. Note that if you havedownloaded the zipped version of haspdinst.exe, you'll need to unzip it into your chosen folder.

Step 5
Open a Command Prompt window in administrator mode. If you've never done this before, be assured that it's easy. In your Windows searchbox at the left of your taskbar, type the letters "CMD" (without the quotes). You'll see something like this:

It's important that you type the text exactly as shown, with no typos, although if you put haspdinst.exe into a folder other than C:\Dragonflyyou'll want to adjust the first line accordingly. Qualitia digitally signs all the executable files shared with Qualitia Setup or installable. In case system fails to verify this Digital signature, it is recommended to verify the signature using few simple steps before continuing the operation.

By default, Qualitia Server is configured to use communication port 8889. In case this port is being used by some another application, you may change this communication port to any other available port.

This error occurs when the Selenium folder is missing in the Qualitia installation directory. This folder consists of all the browser drivers that are required for the test case executions using different browsers.

If any of the workaround mentioned above does not work or you are unable to follow these workarounds due to any permission-related issues, you can move the Qualitia project to some local drive with relatively shorter path. Moving the project to the local drive or shorter path saves some character space and may resolve the issue.

This error occurs when the Sentinel License Manager is missing on the designated machine. Before initiating the Qualitia installation, you must first activate Qualitia license. Activating license includes installing Sentinel License Manager (haspdinst.exe).

You may face problems in test case executions in case the Google Chrome browser and chrome driver versions are not compatible. With new versions of google chrome browsers, it is important to update the chrome drivers to run the test cases flawlessly.

This error usually appears when the project artifacts (tasks, test cases) from the SVN server are not accessible from Qualitia client due to one or more reasons. This situation may occur when you update project folder names on either SVN server or on the local machine. While updating the project folder names, ensure you use the same folder names at both the locations; SVN Server and local machine (Project Path).

Starting Qualitia Automation Studio v5.6, you can add objects using Object Spy for Google Chrome. In case you face any difficulties while adding objects using Google Chrome extension, uninstall the Qualitia Object Spy extension and reinstall it.

Some organizations follow a practice of creating Virtual Machines (VM) with standard configurations and then clone it for different users to use. If they install Qualitia on the base image, Qualitia licensing manager may get duplicate installation id for the cloned VM. In all likelihood, the end user may receive a licensing error. It is, therefore, recommended to install Qualitia separately on the VMs after they are cloned.

Qualitia depends on the web drivers for mobile Web application testing. In case the chrome driver is not compatible with the browser version, it is recommended to update the driver as well as chrome browser to the latest version.

Qualitia Object Spy is an Internet Explorer (IE) plug-in embedded within IE window at the bottom of the page. It allows you adding objects in the repository while developing test cases or tasks. You can edit the objects in case of any changes to document structure and at the same time validate changes to objects.

In order to perform action against the form element, Qualitia user need not select/switch control in WebDriver. Selection/switching of control in WebDriver is ONLY required for frames/iframes and browser windows.

For example: On Sauce Labs, this action found working seamlessly on Google Chrome version 60 and below and Mozilla Firefox version 47 and below with their default drivers. If the Google Chrome browser version is 61 to 64, you must use chromedriver version 2.29 for this action to work. This action does not work with Mozilla Firefox version 48 and above, Internet Explorer, and Safari browsers.
