On a side note - I emailed Harvey Fierstein the other day. I wanted to
thank him for being so influential/inspirational to all of us... I
mentioned the film, that he has inspired me to tell our stories...
this is what he wrote.. if you want to read my email to him, let me
know.

"Thank you, jason, for the note and vote of confidence. The work you
are doing, chronicling our history, is very important. Straight people
would love to make believe that we are a fad or passing phase. Only we
can save and create the record of our history and many contributions to
the human experience.
