Hi DPP colleagues,

We're at 1,683 members! Reminder that you can set these emails as a digest or stop them with the links below.

I wanted to ask for your feedback. We're thinking of launching a DPP Innovation Fund that would give a (micro-)grant to a nonprofit to invest in improving fundraising capacity. The grant would be in the $2-5k range.

I.e. they could use it to launch a monthly giving program, train gift officers, or launch a loyalty program.

The nonprofit that receives the grant would be required to document their growth process and lessons learned for the entire nonprofit community by posting about it regularly on LinkedIn.

Could I ask you to poke holes into the concept? What could go wrong? Thanks in advance!

** Other DPP activity for you to tap into **
  • Regular DPP programming (Lunch Analysis, Small Group Discussions and #DPPOfficeHours)
  • Another group (thank you!!) has been working incredibly hard to create a crash course for you on gaming fundraising. You can read more about this impressive group and the course at Level Up your Gaming Fundraising
  • We're still looking for an online home for impromptu conversation and Q&A. For now, connect with fellow DPPers on our Facebook Group or Zoom channel
To those of us in the US: Happy July 4th!

Louis
