Hello fellow DPP members!
For those of you in and around New Jersey – I wanted to share my organization’s event that is coming up on Saturday, June 25 at Ort Farms – NorwesFest! This is our second year planning this 2-in-1 event and we’re really excited to be able to expand it significantly this year! We’ve structured it as both a fundraiser AND a community builder – so the daytime Family Fun Day is only $10 per person, and includes tons of fun games and activities for kids of all ages, beer and wine tastings for the adults, snacks, and live music (lunch and ice cream will also be available to purchase from local food trucks). I think it’s going to be a ton of fun, so if you’re in the area, I wanted to invite you to come out and join us!

5:30-9pm Sunset Soiree - $150 per seat
If you plan to come please let me know – I’d love to have a chance to meet some of you in person! And if anyone is interested in the model for this event I’d be happy to share more. The daytime event alone actually operates at a loss for us, but overall the event has a decent net, which we expect to grow once it becomes more established. We took a big leap of faith in creating this last year because we also chose to host it in a geographic area where a lot of people don’t know us. We’ve been learning a lot along the way, and I’m sure we’ll continue to learn and evolve, but this year’s is already a big leap forward over the inaugural event last year. So if you want to know more – feel free to reach out to set up time to chat – after June 25, of course 😊
